Phil Knell is a client advisor with more than 30 years of experience in the financial advisory field. He delivers comprehensive investment management, personal and charitable trust services, and personal financial planning services to his high-net-worth clients at the firm. Working closely with each client, he develops strategies that help them meet their short- and intermediate-term financial goals, in addition to helping them leave a lasting legacy that reflects their goals and values beyond their lifetimes.
Prior to joining Laird Norton Tyee, Phil was a senior vice president and client manager at Bank of America. While there, he provided comprehensive financial solutions for the bank’s high-net-worth clients with assets totaling in excess of $500 million. Phil also previously served at U.S. Bank, where he gained additional experience and expertise in financial planning, trust services, and investment management services for institutional trust clients. Early in his career, Phil established and managed a successful financial planning practice.
Phil has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Washington and holds the Certified Financial Planner® and Certified Retirement Services Professional designations.
