As president and chief executive officer of Laird Norton Tyee, Bob Moser has more than 25 years of private wealth management, financial services and business management experience. Bob joined Laird Norton Tyee in 2008 as chief client service officer and president and assumed the role of chief executive officer on January 1, 2011.
Previously, Bob was a senior executive at SunTrust Banks, Inc., where he worked 19 years. He was chief risk officer and chief strategy officer of SunTrust's Wealth & Investment Management line of business, as well as president of SunTrust's Delaware Trust Company. Bob also served as president of Asset Management Advisors in Orlando Florida, a SunTrust affiliate. Over the past 15 years, Bob also served as a consultant to several private foundations in the areas of governance and strategic planning.
Bob is a member of several industry and not-for-profit organizations including the Trust Management Association. He is a member of the Community Development Roundtable in Seattle and on the board of directors for Amara. He also serves as the chairman of the Children's Home Society of Florida. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and English from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania. Bob also frequently writes for Laird Norton Tyee’s ReGenU blog, which explores a range of life transitions.
