Wendy engages with business, philanthropy, finance and legal influencers in the community, opening discussions about Laird Norton Tyee's unique services model. She has more than 15 years of financial services experience, mostly rooted in the Northwest. Wendy enjoys articulating how the firm positively affects the lives of clients, their families and communities.

Prior to joining Laird Norton Tyee, Wendy was a vice president, business development officer at Wells Fargo, in both its international and domestic business lines where she was responsible for product sales to individuals, corporations and foundations. Wendy also held sales and marketing management positions at Safeco where she succeeded at expanding sales of annuities, insurance products and mutual funds and expressing their value to customers.

Previously, she was a major gifts officer for her alma mater, the University of Washington, were she earned a bachelor of art degree. She also holds a master's of business administration from Seattle University.
