Bob Moser joined Laird Norton Tyee in 2008 as chief client service officer and president, responsible for driving Laird Norton Tyee's client service and growth objectives and, in conjunction with the firm's executive leadership, defining the firm's strategic goals.
Moser brings more than 25 years of private wealth management, financial services and business management experience to Laird Norton Tyee. Prior to joining the firm, Moser was a senior executive at SunTrust Banks, Inc. In his 19-year career with SunTrust Banks, his responsibilities included Chief Risk Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of SunTrust's Wealth & Investment Management line of business, as well as president of SunTrust's Delaware Trust Company.
Bob also served as president of Asset Management Advisors in Orlando Florida, a SunTrust affiliate. Throughout Bob's SunTrust career, he has been responsible for strategic design and implementation planning for sales, service, retention and risk management of the bank's wealth and investment management services.
Bob started his career with First Union National Bank in Charlotte, North Carolina as a relationship manager in the personal trust area. He then moved to the investment side of the business where he had responsibility for starting up and running the bank's asset management account (CAP Account) and mutual fund groups.
Moser is a member of several industry and not-for-profit organizations including the Trust Management Association, the Estate Planning Council and the Florida Bankers Association. He currently serves as the chairman of the Children's Home Society of Florida. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and English from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania.
